Following his Dream

A friend of mine recently left the corporate world behind and decided to follow his dream and open a restaurant. Now while I don’t think he’ll be putting in less hours of work per week than he did at his desk job, he certainly will be happier. He’s following his dream and that’s what really matters. It takes guts to make a career change, it is an even gutsier move to do it in a fragile economy. Nevertheless, sometimes you have to just go with your gut instinct and follow your dreams.

Having worked many years in the corporate world he recognizes the need for professional help when it comes to managing the finances of his business. One of his first tasks was to find an Accounting Firm in New York, at some point he knew that he would need to hire a firm to tackle financial aspects of his business. Accounting firms can take on small monthly accounting needs or bigger year long projects. By hiring a firm to manage his financial needs such as taxes and accounts payable and receivable, he is able to concentrate on the areas of his business he excels at, creating and cooking awesome Italian dishes
