Beautiful Meribel

It’s never too soon to start planning that winter ski vacation. One of most spectacular resorts in Europe is Ski Cuisine, a well-established chalet operator in Meribel, Three Valleys.  Within the Three Valleys area there are well over 1200 snow canons which guarantee the avid skier snow throughout the entire season. Snowboards can showcase their skills on tow snowboard parks featuring half pipes, quarter pipes and a variety of jumps.  Skiers also have a variety of mountain restaurants sporting gorgeous views while dining on scrumptious snacks and lunches.

Ski Cuisine has a variety of chalets to suit you or your group’s needs.  Ski Cuisine offers six gorgeous catered chalets and one ski apartment in various sizes. All chalets offer premium services and amenities such as log fireplaces, spectacular views of the valley, luxurious linens, bath towels and toiletries.  Some chalets include features such as hot tubs, Wi-Fi service and docking stations for your electronics.  The resort also has onsite spa services such as massages and beauty treatments for the ultimate day of pampering.

As with any vacation food is an important aspect. The experienced Chiefs work tiredly to create a variety of delicious dishes using the freshest of ingredients. From the hearty breakfasts, to the afternoon tea with delicious home baked goods, your taste buds will be thanking you. Rounding out the day with a day enjoying a four course dinner with a select wine brings the day to a full and satisfying close. A winter vacation at Ski Cuisine is definitely a holiday you will look forward to.

Compare and Save

I recently decided to get a hold on my finances. With my new position that I secured through the use of recruitment agencies I've been able to really hit my debts hard and move to a more financially secure future.
I've paid down my high interest credit card bills, started to set some monthly savings goals and have even looked into more affordable auto insurance policies. The next area I am going to tackle is my energy costs.

I’ve done all the research….I’m a big fan of websites that use video marketing like the work produced by Swoon Video Production in Auckland to find tips on how to  save on my energy costs and have come up with some great tips I've shared with my friends and family. Some of my top tips I’ll share with you right now!  The first thing I did was to switch out my energy guzzling incandescent bulbs for compact fluorescent  just switching one of these bulbs will save me about thirty five dollars in energy cost over the projected ten year life of the bulb. Yes you read that right, imagine not having to buy bulbs for ten years and saving some money to boot!
One of the most important tips I've learned is to compare energy suppliers.  Depending on your area you could save up to a whopping fifteen percent on your energy cost just by comparing suppliers. It’s an easy process, and one great place to start is by using Yourselect Power Company Comparison. This is a great site that helps you to decode your energy bill and find the best supplier for your consumption needs. It’s all about saving, saving, saving. And this is the first step in getting those energy costs down to a reasonable rate.
Another simple energy tip is to close the blinds, especially in the hottest part of the day. It’s a simple thing to do to keep those rooms cooler and not stress the air conditioner in the warmer months. In the cooler months don’t forget to use insulated curtains to keep the warmth in and cold out.
One of the great tips I've learned is to zap the electricity sucking vampire! Unplug those charging adapters and appliances that you don’t use on a daily basis. These standby power cords account for an astonishing five to ten percent of your household electricity use! Yikes talk about wasting money!
